Family is important and relation by blood is not the only type of family You have. There is an old saying which is always misquoted "Blood is thicker than water". The true original quote is " The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb ". Now what does that mean? It means that it doesn't matter the circumstances you always have a choice in who you bond with. When you choose each other you enter into a covenant or a pact. That relationship is something special. It should be honored, respected and nurtured. Learn how to communicate properly with one another to gain true understanding and strengthen your bonds.
